There was snow on the ground this year for Halloween. Snow!!?? Tyler asked to be various forms of zombies, the Scream guy, and other characters that I was certain would cause a call from the school. In the end, he was a SWAT team member. He wasn't thrilled but we did not get any calls from the school, at least, not because of the costume.
Tyler also went to the Hatch Halloween dance. A dance for grade schoolers means they play music and the kids all chase after each other in the gym in costume. Toward the end of the night, they held a costume contest but Tyler decided to bow out early to go home and watch a move with Maria.
