Tyler and Maria
We had dinner at Gibsons in Chicago a few weeks ago with Maria's family. Not only was it an unbelievably delicious dinner, it was also a delightful evening with wonderful company!
Tyler, who had previously said that he did not like steak, promptly changed his mind when the perfectly cooked filet mignon with bearnaise sauce was placed in front of him. He tasted the steak with the sauce and became a believer on the spot. He also ate the salad before the steak and had a few bites of the sauteed mushrooms.
To top off Tyler's fearless eating, he was also well behaved! He sat up straight, put the napkin in his lap and kept the elbows off the table.
As a Mom, to have a six year old conduct himself so well in a very adult setting, made me very relieved proud.
